At ten o’ clock that night everything was moved and unpacked. The process of moving out the old apartment went by quickly. Flora had her movers and Emerald had hers. Emerald was officially on her own. The new apartment smelled of fresh paint and cardboard boxes. She had a great window view of the area. Her window’s length went from the ceiling to the floor. She opened her blinds and took in the scenery. Across from her living room sat other apartment buildings. To her right was the office, pool and laundry room area. To her left were more apartments. Colorful plants were everywhere. Palm trees decorated the entire parking area. Whoever did there landscaping knew what they were doing completely. The lights bouncing off of the pool area made it look very inviting.
